The city of Scarborough is part of the newly created Greater Toronto Area and borders along Toronto’s East Side. The centre of Scarborough is located in the northern part of the city, right next to Highway 401. City Hall is located in a section of land that is home to many government buildings. One of the nicest areas in Scarborough is situated in the southern part of the city and just south of Kingston Rd. The Scarborough Bluffs and Bluffers Park are heavily used by both tourists and families that are out for a break from the hectic lifestyle of the city. Located in Scarborough’s northeast corner is Agincourt. This area has a large Asian population and the stores and restaurants are dominated by Asian writing.
